Friday, March 15th, 2019 Defined Intramural Open 19.4!

Friday Night Schedule Changes: 6pm and 7pm classes and open gym are both cancelled for the next 2 weeks and will be replaced by our Defined Intramural “Friday Night Lights” which will run from 6-9pm.

If you cannot make our “Friday Night Lights” to perform your open workout, below is a list of additional times you can complete the Open workout:

  • Thursday night, 8-9pm  
  • Friday during any class time or open gym time
  • Saturday Open gym from 11-2pm
  • Sunday Open gym from 9-11am
  • Monday during any class time or open gym time

If you perform the workout outside of the “Friday Night Lights” throw-down, you can still receive your participation points just for showing up on Friday night wearing your team colors to cheer and support your team! 

Good Luck to all athletes that are registered and competing! First timers, do not take this too seriously, have fun and push yourself along the way!

A.
6 Rounds: Every 3 minutes
Romanian Deadlift X 10 reps
– Building each round
Tall Box Jumps X 5 reps
– Building in height each round
Pullup Practice X 30 seconds
– Options: Active kip Swing, pullups, bar muscle ups, all are options!
Rest remaining of each round!

B.
CrossFit Open #19.4
For total time: (12 minute cap)
3 rounds of:
  10 X Snatches
– Power, Squat and Split are all acceptable
  12 X Bar-facing burpees
Then, rest 3 minutes before continuing with:
3 rounds of:
  10 X Bar muscle-ups
– Scale to Chin over bar pullups if needed
  12 X Bar-facing burpees

Rx Barbell weight: 95/65lbs
Scaled Barbell weight: 65/45lbs
Class Barbell weight: No more than 45% of Snatch or Pushpress, something you can perform 10 unbroken reps each round!
